Garage Door Pros / Brand system and production website

The best-dressed garage door firm in Berkshire.

Genius Digital Labs took Garage Door Pros from a phone number and a van to a brand-led production website. The site launched in May 2026 with dedicated service pages, a full brand image set and local search coverage across 20 towns in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

01 The brief

A new operation needed credibility from its first day.

Local trades get templates. This one got a brand.

Highlands Electrical Services was launching a dedicated garage door operation for repairs, new installations and electric automation. It entered a market split between national lead-generation sites and ageing local templates, with no time to borrow credibility slowly.

The brief was simple: a homeowner in Marlow or Windsor should land on the site and feel they had found the serious option. It needed to be live in days, not months.

Local trades deserve the same design language as national brands. That gap is the whole opportunity.

02 The approach

Identity, content and search architecture designed as one system.

A design system, not a decorated template.

Genius Digital Labs built a deep botanical palette from the vans and livery: ink green, moss, sage and bone. Archivo runs heavy, uppercase and tight for headlines, paired with Inter for reading. Every animation shares one editorial easing curve, so the site moves like one object.

The content architecture was built for local search from the start, with dedicated pages for repairs, installations and electric doors, plus named coverage pages across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. LocalBusiness structured data gives search engines the same clear account of the company that customers see.

The imagery keeps to the trade's reality: Hörmann sectionals, roller doors and up-and-overs, presented in the brand's own palette across every page.

03 The build

Big-brand interactions, shipped in one weekend.

Movement with a job to do.

The homepage centres on an eight-second film of a door in motion, scrubbed frame by frame as the visitor scrolls. Recent installations run through a horizontal work gallery, while reveal typography, parallax photography and a reading progress bar share the same motion system.

The functional work is just as direct. A Resend contact pipeline captures service and postcode, then sends the enquiry to the office inbox within seconds. Service pages, town coverage, LocalBusiness schema, the sitemap and robots configuration shipped with it.

  • Scroll-driven door film as the homepage centrepiece
  • Horizontal gallery built around completed installations
  • Verified direct-to-inbox enquiry pipeline
  • Per-service pages and 20 named coverage towns
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected across the site

04 The craft

Shipping the last five per cent.

Every fallback still looks deliberate.

Mobile Safari throttled video seeking during scroll, making the film unreliable on phones. The build detects mobile and serves a composed static frame from the same shoot, giving every visitor an intentional result instead of a degraded effect.

That standard carried through launch week. Small viewport units stop the hero jumping when Safari's address bar collapses, image crops keep the subject in frame at each breakpoint, and the transactional email domain was DNS-verified before the contact form went live.

  • Static poster fallback where mobile Safari cannot scrub video reliably
  • Small viewport units for the mobile browser chrome
  • DKIM and SPF verified for the enquiry pipeline
  • Reduced-motion settings honoured throughout

05 The result

A complete local brand, live and taking enquiries.

A complete brand, built to last.

Garage Door Pros launched at garagedoorpros.co.uk in May 2026. The finished site gives a new specialist operation the visual authority, local relevance and enquiry path of an established national brand, while keeping the trade itself at its centre.

The result is live, indexed and serving customers across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and west London, with repairs, installations and automation presented through one coherent identity.

On the record
Our word on Garage Door Pros

Garage Door Pros is the firm we would call ourselves for garage door repairs, new installations or electric automation anywhere in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or west London. They know exactly what their customers need to see: Hörmann sectionals, roller doors and honest supply-and-fit detail, and the brand system we built presents all of it without fuss.

They are also the most responsive client we have worked with: decisions come back within the hour, every hour, which is what lets a build stay thorough without ever stalling.

Garage Door Pros on Genius Digital Labs
We’ve worked with the team at Genius Digital on the development of our new Garage Door Pros website, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. They took the time to understand our business, our target customers and the direction we wanted to take the brand. Communication was always prompt, they were happy to make changes throughout the project, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The finished website looks professional, loads quickly and has given us a platform we’re genuinely proud to promote. More importantly, it’s been built with SEO and future growth in mind rather than just looking good. If you’re looking for a digital agency that listens, delivers on what they promise and genuinely cares about the end result, I’d have no hesitation recommending Genius Digital.
